The countdown box is a beloved tradition in the fiber community. But daily countdown boxes can get expensive quickly! We've come up with several more affordable box options to make participating more accessible. The Who, What, Where, and Why box is designed to be opened on every Saturday in October (though we won't judge if you have a different plan). Each week you will open a new colorway that will be your clue. At the end of the month, you will solve the mystery!

Your box will include four 100-gram skeins in different Clue-themed colorways on our Merino sock base. This is a preorder for the 2023 fall season. Your box will ship to you in mid-September 2023. 

You may also choose our Overkill add-on option to receive our Clue-themed project bag and Twin Mountain Handcrafts stitch markers.

Countdown Box

Countdown boxes are designed to be opened at a certain time. Your box will ship a few weeks before the beginning of the countdown period, regardless of when you place your order.

Hand-Dyed Colors

We do our best to take our photos under consistent conditions so you can accurately compare colorways. Different monitors show colors differently, so results may vary based on your computer screen. As with all hand-dyed yarns, variation from skein to skein is normal and to be expected. If you are ordering multiple skeins of the same colorway, we will dye them together or consecutively to minimize variation, but please consider alternating between the skeins throughout your work for the most consistent finished object.

Care Instructions

All yarn is pre-washed in our studio to minimize color bleeding, but should be washed separately or with like colors for the first several washes. We always suggest washing your finished objects by hand in cool water and allowing them to air dry for best results.

Cesium Yarn fibers are dyed in a pet-free studio in a smoke-free, pet-friendly home. Please contact us if you have any questions.
