"These couches are new. Well, not really. They’re probably over 15 years old. But, since they don’t exist in my earliest memories of the cabin, they are fresh out of the sofa factory (which is surely a thing). At least that’s how I see it. Even so, these couches are emblematic of the comfy cozy atmosphere that I instinctively pair with the cabin in my mind. 

Many evenings have been spent with family on these couches while we have watched movies, read books, and, yes, knit! They have had front row seats to family talent shows, functioned as the stage on which my nephew tested his “super sticky superpowers” (aka sprawling out on the cushion’s edge and seeing how long he’d be able to keep from falling), and served as the landing strip for weary beach goers after a long day of sun and surf. The perfect nap spot, they are as comfy cozy as they look."

Dyed to Order

Dyed-to-order colorways are made especially for you and have a turnaround time of up to four weeks. If you need something faster, browse our ready-to-ship colorways.

Hand-Dyed Colors

We do our best to take our photos under consistent conditions so you can accurately compare colorways. Different monitors show colors differently, so results may vary based on your computer screen. As with all hand-dyed yarns, variation from skein to skein is normal and to be expected. If you are ordering multiple skeins of the same colorway, we will dye them together or consecutively to minimize variation, but please consider alternating between the skeins throughout your work for the most consistent finished object.

Care Instructions

All yarn is pre-washed in our studio to minimize color bleeding, but should be washed separately or with like colors for the first several washes. We always suggest washing your finished objects by hand in cool water and allowing them to air dry for best results.
