It’s January, which means it’s time for another @lyricalknits mystery knitalong! And this time Mary Annarella has set us up for the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational MUPPET SHAWL! We've created four kits for you to choose from. Introducing: "In the Balcony," inspired by professional hecklers/gay icons Statler and Waldorf.

This kit comes with two 100-gram speckled tan main color skeins and one 100-gram skein of each of the contrast colors (brown and gray). All four skeins are in our Merino sock base and have a combined yardage of 1,852 yards.

Preorders for the pattern are available now from Lyrical Knits. If you want your kit in time for the first clue on March 1st, we recommend ordering by February 15th. This listing will stay live for longer for anyone who wants to join late, but we can't guarantee that your kit will ship in time to arrive for the first clue.

Dyed to Order

Dyed-to-order colorways are made especially for you and have a turnaround time of up to four weeks. If you need something faster, browse our ready-to-ship colorways.

Hand-Dyed Colors

We do our best to take our photos under consistent conditions so you can accurately compare colorways. Different monitors show colors differently, so results may vary based on your computer screen. As with all hand-dyed yarns, variation from skein to skein is normal and to be expected. If you are ordering multiple skeins of the same colorway, we will dye them together or consecutively to minimize variation, but please consider alternating between the skeins throughout your work for the most consistent finished object.

Care Instructions

All yarn is pre-washed in our studio to minimize color bleeding, but should be washed separately or with like colors for the first several washes. We always suggest washing your finished objects by hand in cool water and allowing them to air dry for best results.
