US Shipping Prices
Our shipping prices are automatically calculated based on the product weight. We are able to ship with USPS and UPS for domestic orders. Single skeins usually cost $5 or less to ship within the US.
Free US Shipping
For domestic orders over $200, we cover the cost of your shipping! Your order will be shipped via USPS with ground or priority service, depending on the weight and size of your order. Orders shipped using our free shipping typically arrive in 3-5 days. If you would like faster shipping, you can select your desired service at checkout, but keep in mind that this will not decrease the time it takes us to dye and ship your order.
International Shipping Prices
We offer international shipping to several destinations including Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. The most affordable shipping option is called the Standard Export Rate and usually takes 2-4 weeks to ship. The Standard Export Rate is weight-based and starts at $9.50. We also try to offer as many shipping options for international orders as possible so you can select the best one for you and your area. These prices are automatically calculated by each carrier. The customer is responsible for paying additional duties and fees on international orders. Single skeins usually cost about $15-20 to ship through USPS or FedEx, though this varies more than domestic shipping rates. We are not able to offer free shipping on international orders.
Shipping Timeline
We have three categories of yarn listings: ready to ship, dyed to order, and preorder. The shipping timelines differ between these categories and are outlined below. If your order is made up of items from multiple categories, they will all ship at the same time as the skein with the longest shipping time estimate (e.g., if you order a skein of yarn from each category, they will all follow the shipping timeline for preorder yarn). If you would like to break your order into multiple packages to avoid this, please let us know, though additional shipping charges may apply.
Ready-to-Ship Yarn
Orders made up entirely of ready-to-ship yarn are packed and shipped within seven days of your order. When you order, you may select the shipping time you desire from our available shipping options, ranging from 2-day shipping to standard shipping, which usually takes 5-7 business days.
Dyed-to-Order Yarn
Orders containing entirely dyed-to-order yarn are dyed up especially for you and ship within four weeks of your order. When you order, you may select the shipping time you desire from our available shipping options, ranging from 2-day shipping to standard shipping, which usually takes 5-7 business days.
Preorder Yarn
Yarn is made available for preorder when we release a new collection. Due to increased demand, we may take up to twelve weeks to ship your yarn. When you order, you may select the shipping time you desire from our available shipping options, ranging from 2-day shipping to standard shipping, which usually takes 5-7 business days.
Shipping Delays
Many carriers have experienced delays in their shipping processes. We are a small business and have no control over these delays. Once your yarn has reached the carrier, we can no longer take responsibility for its shipping timeline. All of our shipping options come with tracking, which we provide in your shipping notification.
